Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Tarxien, head southeast on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq L-Imdina. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq G. M. Gatt. Follow this road until you reach another roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq Ic-Cimiterju. The Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum will be on your left at Triq Ic Cimiterju Raħal Ġdid, PLA 1116. It is about a 15-minute walk from the center of Tarxien.

  • Public Transport

    From Tarxien, head to the nearest bus stop at the Tarxien parish church. Take bus route 81 or 82 towards Valletta. Get off at the stop 'Paola' after about 10 minutes. From the bus stop, walk towards Triq Ic-Cimiterju, which is about a 10-minute walk. The Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum will be on your right at Triq Ic Cimiterju Raħal Ġdid, PLA 1116.
