Car
If you are driving from the center of Tas-Silġ Area, head east on Triq Il-Foss towards Ħaż-Żabbar. Follow the road until you reach the junction with Triq Il-Knisja. Turn left onto Triq Il-Knisja and continue straight. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see Hompesch Gate on your right. Parking is available on the side streets nearby.
Public Transportation
Take bus route 81 or 85 from the nearest bus stop in Tas-Silġ Area. Ensure you are heading towards Ħaż-Żabbar. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Hompesch Gate' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to the gate itself, taking around 5 minutes. Please note that bus tickets can be purchased from the driver or via the Tallinja app, costing approximately €1.50.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the Tas-Silġ archaeological site, you can walk to Hompesch Gate. Head northwest on Triq Il-Foss, and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. The gate will be on your right-hand side. This walk is scenic and will take around 15 minutes.
