Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Tas-Silġ Area. Head southeast on Triq il-Luzzu towards Triq il-Birgu. Continue straight onto Triq San Luqa which will lead you towards the Marsaxlokk area. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Bajja. Follow the road until you see the signs for Fort Tas-Silġ. The fort is located at the coordinates RHR4+7X, Marsaxlokk. There is usually parking available nearby, but be mindful of any parking restrictions.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Fort Tas-Silġ via public transportation, you can take bus route 81 or 85 from Tas-Silġ. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop and head towards Marsaxlokk. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Marsaxlokk bus terminal, exit the bus and head southeast on Triq il-Bajja. Continue walking until you reach the coordinates RHR4+7X, where Fort Tas-Silġ is located. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for any changes in timing, and keep some small change or a contactless card for the fare.
Walking
If you are already in the Tas-Silġ Area and prefer to walk to Fort Tas-Silġ, start from the main beach area. Head towards Triq il-Luzzu and follow the coastal road. It is approximately a 30-minute walk, so wear comfortable shoes. Enjoy the scenic views as you walk along the coastline until you reach the entrance to Fort Tas-Silġ at RHR4+7X. Make sure to carry water with you, especially on warmer days.
