Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the Tas-Silġ area, head north on Triq il-Luzzu towards Triq tal-Bajtar. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Knisja, which will lead you toward Tarxien. After about 1.5 km, you will see signs for Tarxien Temples. Turn left onto Triq It Tempji Neolitici, and the entrance to the temples will be on your right. Parking is available near the entrance.

    From the Tas-Silġ area, find the nearest bus stop for bus route 81 or 82. Board the bus and head towards Valletta. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the Tarxien stop. From the bus stop, walk about 300 meters down Triq It Tempji Neolitici. The Tarxien Temples will be on your left. The bus fare is around €2.00 per trip.

    If you are in the Tas-Silġ area and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Start by walking north on Triq il-Luzzu, then turn left on Triq il-Knisja. Follow this road for about 1.5 km until you reach a junction. Continue straight and you will see signs for Tarxien Temples. The walk should take about 25-30 minutes.
