If you're driving, start from the center of Tas-Silġ Area. Head southeast on Triq il-Kanun towards Triq il-Madonna tal-Karmnu. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Kanun and follow it until you reach the next roundabout. From there, take the first exit onto Triq il-Luzzu (SPB 3). Continue on this road until you reach Marsaxlokk. Once in Marsaxlokk, follow the signs to The Island Sanctuary, which is located on the outskirts of the village. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach The Island Sanctuary using public transport, first locate the nearest bus stop in Tas-Silġ Area. You will need to catch Bus 81 or Bus 85, which head towards Marsaxlokk. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Marsaxlokk bus terminal, disembark and head towards the waterfront. From the bus terminal, walk southeast along the waterfront until you see signs for The Island Sanctuary. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes. Ensure you have a valid bus ticket, which costs around €1.50 for a single journey.

If you are already in Marsaxlokk, you can easily walk to The Island Sanctuary. From the main square, head southeast along the waterfront promenade (Triq il-Luzzu) for about 15 minutes.
