Walking
If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens, exit the gardens and head down the stairs towards the Valletta Waterfront. Once you reach the bottom, turn left and walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the main street. Turn right onto the main street and continue straight. You will pass through Republic Street, which is lined with shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach St. Mark Street; the Fortifications Interpretation Centre will be on your right.

From the National Museum of Archaeology, exit the museum and turn left. Walk along St. Paul Street until you reach the end, where it meets Merchants Street. Turn right onto Merchants Street and continue straight until you reach St. Mark Street. The Fortifications Interpretation Centre will be on your left, just a short walk away.

If you are coming from the Malta Experience, exit the venue and head towards the main road. Turn left onto the road and continue walking until you reach the intersection with St. George's Square. Cross the square and continue straight onto St. Mark Street. The Fortifications Interpretation Centre will be directly ahead on St. Mark Street.

From the Lower Barracca Gardens, exit the gardens and walk up the steps towards the main road. Once you reach the top, turn right and follow the road until you reach St. George's Square. Cross the square, then turn left onto St. Mark Street. The Fortifications Interpretation Centre will be on your right side as you walk along St. Mark Street.
