Walking

Starting from the Valletta City Gate, head towards Republic Street. As you walk down Republic Street, you will pass by various shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street where it meets St. George's Square. At St. George's Square, turn left onto St. John Street and continue walking. After a short walk, you will reach the intersection with Merchant Street. Turn right onto Merchant Street and keep walking until you reach the end, where you will see the entrance to Hastings Garden.

If you are near the Upper Barracca Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards the lift down to Valletta. Once you exit the lift, walk straight ahead to reach the main road. Turn left and walk along the waterfront until you come to a set of stairs on your right leading up to Hastings Garden. This route will provide you with lovely views of the harbor as you make your way to the garden.

From the National Museum of Archaeology, walk down South Street until you reach the end. At the intersection with St. John Street, turn right and continue straight.
