Getting there

Walking

If you are near the Upper Barracca Gardens, walk down the steps towards the Lower Barracca Gardens. As you approach the lower gardens, you will see the entrance to Lower Barrakka on your left. It's a short walk of about 5 minutes.

From the Valletta Waterfront, head up towards the city center. Walk through the main gate of Valletta and continue straight along Triq ir-Repubblika. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a fork; take the left path towards Lower Barracca Gardens.

Starting from the National Museum of Archaeology, head towards the main street (Triq ir-Repubblika). Turn left and continue straight. After approximately 7 minutes, look for signs for Lower Barracca Gardens on your right.

Public Transport

Take bus number 133 from the Valletta bus terminal towards Sliema. Get off at the stop 'Lower Barracca'. Walk straight for about 3 minutes to reach your destination.

Walking

If you are near the Fort St. Elmo, walk down towards the coast. Follow the coastline until you reach the Lower Barracca Gardens. This scenic route will take around 15-20 minutes.
