Walking
From the Upper Barracca Gardens in Valletta, head towards the main entrance and exit the gardens. Once outside, turn left onto Triq Sant' Ursula. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street and turn right onto Triq il-Lanca. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the road, then turn left onto Triq il-Foss, which will lead you to the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path, which will lead you to Birgu. Keep walking along the waterfront until you reach the Couvre Porte Counterguard, where the Malta at War Museum is located.

Public Transport
From Valletta's city center, head to the bus terminus located near the City Gate. Take bus route 81 or 82 towards Birgu. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Birgu' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the main square and turn right onto Triq it-8 ta' Dicembru. Continue walking straight, and you will find the Malta at War Museum at Couvre Porte Counterguard on your left.
