    Start from the Upper Barracca Gardens, which is a popular viewpoint in Valletta. Exit the gardens and walk towards the main road, Triq Il-Lvant. Turn left onto Triq Il-Lvant and proceed straight. After about 500 meters, you will reach the end of the road where it intersects with Triq Sant'Anna. Turn right onto Triq Sant'Anna and continue until you reach the waterfront. At the waterfront, you will see the ferry terminal. From there, you can catch a ferry to Birgu, which is a short and scenic ride across the Grand Harbour. Once you arrive in Birgu, disembark and walk straight up Triq Il-Kottonera. Notre Dame Gate will be on your left side after a short walk.

    From Republic Street, find the nearest bus stop and take the bus towards Birgu. The bus line number 81 or 82 will take you to Birgu. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes.
