Walking
If you are in the main square of Valletta, Republic Square, start by facing the National Museum of Archaeology. From there, walk towards the entrance of the Upper Barracca Gardens. Once you reach the gardens, take the steps down to the Lascaris Ditch. The Lascaris War Rooms will be directly in front of you after you descend. It’s a short walk, about 10 minutes.
Walking
If you are at the Valletta Waterfront, start walking towards the city center. Follow the signs to the main entrance of Valletta. Once you enter through the city gates, continue straight until you reach the Republic Street. Turn right onto Republic Street, walk past the Parliament building, and then take a left onto Lascaris Ditch. The Lascaris War Rooms will be located on your right. This route will take approximately 25 minutes.
Public Transport
From the nearest bus stop at Castille, take any bus heading towards Valletta city center. Get off at the next stop, which is near the National Museum of Archaeology. From there, follow the walking directions mentioned above to reach the Lascaris War Rooms. The bus journey is short, lasting around 5-10 minutes, and will require a short walk of about 10 minutes.
