Getting There

Walking
Start from the main entrance of the Valletta City Gate. Head straight along Republic Street, which is the main thoroughfare of Valletta. Continue walking until you reach the intersection at Castille Square. At this point, you will see the Prime Minister's Office on your left. Turn right onto St. Paul Street and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. You will arrive at the Lower Barracca Gardens. From the gardens, take the steps leading up to the Upper Barracca Gardens. Once you are in the Upper Barracca Gardens, enjoy the views and make your way towards the lift that leads down to the waterfront. After taking the lift, exit and turn left, following the promenade along the Grand Harbour. Continue walking until you reach St. Michael Bastion. Look for the signs directing you to Lookout Point, which is located at 18 Windmill. This area offers stunning views and is a perfect spot for relaxation and photography.

If you are near the National Museum of Archaeology, exit the museum and turn left onto St. John Street. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn right onto Merchant Street and continue straight until you reach the junction with St. Paul Street. From here, turn left and follow the previous walking instructions to navigate to the Upper Barracca Gardens, then proceed towards Lookout Point.
