Walking
If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards the main street, Triq Il-Merkanti. Turn left and walk down towards the Grand Harbour. Continue straight until you reach the National Library of Malta on your right. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the iconic St. John's Co-Cathedral, which is a must-see in Valletta.

If you are at the Triton Fountain, head towards the entrance of the Valletta City Gate. Walk through the gate and take a left on Republic Street, the main shopping street. Continue walking straight, and you will reach the Upper Barracca Gardens on your right, which offers stunning views of the harbour.

If you are near the bus terminal in Valletta, take any bus heading towards Sliema or St. Julian's. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for the National Museum of Archaeology.
