If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens, head down the steps towards the main road. Once you reach the street, turn left and continue walking along the main road (Triq il-Merkanti) towards the Grand Harbour. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Triq Sant'Ursola. Turn right onto Triq Sant'Ursola and continue straight. You will come to a crossroads; continue straight onto Triq il-Liov and you will see Victoria Gate ahead on your left.

Starting from St. John's Co-Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head towards the main street (Triq il-Merkanti). Turn left and walk straight until you reach the junction with Triq Sant'Ursola. Turn right on Triq Sant'Ursola and continue straight until you reach the crossroads. Continue straight onto Triq il-Liov, and Victoria Gate will be visible ahead on your left.
