Car
If you're driving from the center of the Western District, head south on Triq il-Belt Valletta (Valletta Road) towards Birżebbuġa. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout at Ħaġar Qim. Take the third exit onto Triq Ħaġar Qim and follow the signs to Blue Grotto. After approximately 2 kilometers, you'll arrive at the parking area near Blue Grotto. Note that parking fees may apply, so be prepared with some coins.
Public Transportation
To reach Blue Grotto via public transport, take bus number 74 from Valletta Bus Station, which heads towards Żurrieq. The journey will take about 50 minutes. Alight at the stop named 'Blue Grotto' and follow the signs to the viewing area. Keep in mind that buses may run less frequently on weekends, so check the schedule in advance. The bus fare is approximately €2.00 for a single journey.
Walking from Bus Stop
Once you arrive at the 'Blue Grotto' bus stop, you will need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the scenic viewing area. Exit the bus and head towards the coastal path. Follow the signs for 'Blue Grotto' and enjoy the stunning views along the way. Wear comfortable shoes as the pathway may be uneven.
Boat Tour

Once at the viewing area, you can purchase tickets for a boat ride that will take you through the caves and allow you to see the famous blue waters up close. Prices for the boat tours typically range from €8 to €10 per person and usually operate from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, depending on weather conditions.
