Car
If you're traveling by car within the Western District, head towards Valletta. Use the main road (Triq il-Lunzjata) to reach the outskirts of the city. Follow signs for Valletta and take the exit towards Floriana. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Triq Sant'Elmo. Drive until you see St Elmo Bridge, where Boom-Defence is located. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee, so be prepared to pay for parking.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Boom-Defence using public transportation, find the nearest bus stop in the Western District. Take bus number 81, which travels towards Valletta. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, walk towards the St Elmo Bridge. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal. Follow the signs for the waterfront, and you will see Boom-Defence upon reaching St Elmo Bridge.
Walking
If you are already close to Valletta, walking is a pleasant way to reach Boom-Defence. Start from the Upper Barracca Gardens, head down towards the waterfront, and then follow the promenade along the coast toward St Elmo Bridge. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the harbor.
