Car
If you're traveling by car from the Western Region, head towards the main road (Triq Il-Kbira) leading to Valletta. Follow the signs for the A2 highway towards Tarxien. After approximately 10 minutes, take the exit toward Ħal Tarxien. Continue straight on Triq It Tempji Neolitici. The Tarxien Temples will be on your right-hand side, with parking available nearby. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee, usually around €1 for an hour.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Tarxien Temples via public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop in the Western Region. Take bus route 81 or 82, which heads to Valletta. From Valletta, transfer to bus route 53 towards Tarxien. The journey from Valletta to Tarxien should take about 20 minutes. Disembark at the 'Tarxien' bus stop, which is a short walk from the Temples. The total cost for the bus ride is approximately €1.50.
Walking
If you find yourself in the vicinity of Tarxien, you can walk to the Temples from the nearby bus stop. From the 'Tarxien' bus stop, head east on Triq Il-Kbira, then turn left onto Triq It Tempji Neolitici. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Tarxien Temples on your right. The walk offers a chance to see local shops and architecture.
