Getting There

Walking
From Xaghra's main square, head east towards the main road (Triq Il-Knisja). Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the corner of Triq Il-Knisja and Triq San Martin. Turn right onto Triq San Martin and follow this road as it curves and leads you downhill. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach a T-junction. Turn left onto Triq Il-Mithna and walk for another 500 meters. You will see a sign for Tal-Mixta Cave on your right. Follow the path leading towards the cave entrance.

Alternatively, from the Xaghra Parish Church, walk north on Triq Il-Knisja for about 300 meters. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Triq Il-Mithna. Continue on this road for about 1.2 kilometers. Eventually, you will see the signs for Tal-Mixta Cave on your left. There is a pathway leading up to the cave entrance that you can follow.

If you prefer public transport, take the bus from Xaghra bus stop. You can catch bus number 302 towards Nadur. The journey will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the Nadur bus stop. From there, head northeast on Triq Il-Knisja for about 800 meters until you reach the Tal-Mixta Cave entrance, which will be on your right.
