    Walking

    Start at the Xaghra Parish Church, a prominent landmark in the center of Xaghra. Head southwest on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq San Pawl. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Triq il-Labour. Turn left and walk along this road for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. After reaching the junction with Triq Manwel Dimech, turn right and follow the signs towards the Citadel in Victoria. This will lead you towards the outskirts of Xaghra. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the signs directing you to Victoria. Once you arrive in Victoria, follow the signs to the Citadel. The walk from Xaghra to the Citadel should take around 25-30 minutes. Once at the Citadel, Il-Bastjun ta San Mikiel will be located within the Citadel area, so follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the specific bastion.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    Begin your journey at the main bus stop in Xaghra, which is near the Parish Church. Take the bus marked towards Victoria (usually Route 41 or 42). The bus ride to Victoria takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Victoria bus terminal, exit the bus and head towards the Citadel, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. Follow the signs leading to the Citadel, and once inside, look for signs directing you to Il-Bastjun ta San Mikiel.
