Walking
From the center of Xaghra, head south on Triq Il-Knisja towards Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass the Xaghra Parish Church on your left and see several shops along the way. Once you reach the intersection with Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II, turn left. Independence Square will be on your right shortly after, marked by a large open area where locals often gather.
Public Transport
Catch the bus from the main bus stop in Xaghra, heading towards Victoria. Buses run regularly, and you should look for the bus heading to 'Ir-Rabat Għawdex'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Victoria' stop. From there, walk down Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II, and Independence Square will be on your right within 5 minutes.
