Walking
Start your journey from the central square in Xewkija, located near the Xewkija Rotunda. From the Rotunda, head southeast on Triq il-Knisja until you reach the junction with Triq ta' Sannat. Turn left onto Triq ta' Sannat and continue walking straight. You will see signs for Mġarr ix-Xini. Follow the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the countryside. Eventually, you will arrive at the entrance to Mġarr ix-Xini, which is situated on your left, just before the road turns sharply. The beach area is easily accessible from here.
Public Transport
From Xewkija, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the central square. Take bus number 306 towards Sannat. When you reach the Sannat bus stop, alight and walk towards Triq ta' Mġarr ix-Xini, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the road signs directing you to Mġarr ix-Xini. As you walk, the path will lead you through beautiful rural landscapes, and you will soon find yourself at the beach.
