Walking
If you are in central Xewkija, head towards the main road (Triq il-Knisja). Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the exit towards San Lawarenz, which is Triq San Lawrenz. Continue straight on this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by fields and the beautiful countryside. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the Wardija Punic Temple. Once you reach the area, follow the signs, and you will find the temple located at 25PP+MR3.
Public Transport
From the bus stop in Xewkija, take the bus heading towards San Lawarenz. The journey should take around 10 minutes. Get off at the San Lawarenz stop, which is the nearest stop to the Wardija Punic Temple. From the bus stop, walk towards the main road and follow the signs towards the temple. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the temple itself.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from central Xewkija. Start at the main square and head towards Triq il-Knisja. Continue on Triq San Lawrenz for about 1.5 kilometers. The route is mostly flat, making it an easy ride. Look for signage towards the Wardija Punic Temple as you approach the area. There is no dedicated bike parking at the temple, so you may need to secure your bicycle nearby.
