    From the main Xlendi bay area, head east towards the main road (Triq il-Liġi). Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Triq il-Liġi and follow it until you reach the bus stop. Once there, take any bus heading towards Victoria. After about 15-20 minutes, you will arrive at the Victoria bus terminus. From the bus terminus, exit and walk towards the main street (Triq San Ġużepp). Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Citadel, which is located at It-Telgħa tal-Belt.

  • Public Transport

    Start at the Xlendi promenade and make your way to the nearest bus stop. Catch a bus heading towards Victoria. The buses run regularly and the journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Victoria bus terminus, exit the bus and walk towards Triq San Ġużepp. Continue straight until you see signs leading to the Citadel at It-Telgħa tal-Belt.

  • Walking

    If you find yourself at the top of Xlendi, walk down towards the bay and follow the promenade east. Continue along the shoreline until you reach the main road (Triq il-Liġi). Cross the road carefully and head towards the bus stop. Take any bus that indicates it is going to Victoria. After arriving at the Victoria bus terminus, follow the directions to Triq San Ġużepp and head straight towards the Citadel entrance.
