    Getting There

    Walking

    From the main promenade in Xlendi, head towards the west along the waterfront. Continue walking past the various restaurants and cafes. After about 10 minutes, keep an eye out for the signs indicating the path to the Santa Maria Caves. You will see a marked trail that leads up the hillside. Follow this trail, which is well-trodden and should take you approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the entrance of the caves.

    Public Transport

    From Xlendi, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the main promenade. Look for a bus heading towards Victoria (Rabat). Once on the bus, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Santa Maria Caves. After disembarking, follow the signs for the Santa Maria Caves, which will be a short walk up the hill. This entire journey may take around 30-40 minutes.
