Bus
From Zejtun, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq il-Kbira. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. This journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you reach Valletta, get off at the bus terminus. From there, transfer to bus number 74 towards Zurrieq. The trip to Zurrieq will take about 30 minutes. After arriving in Zurrieq, you will need to walk to the Blue Grotto, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the coast, and you will eventually arrive at the picturesque Blue Grotto.

Walking
If you prefer to explore on foot, start from the center of Zejtun and head towards Triq il-Kbira. Once you reach this main road, continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq il-Fortizza. Follow this road as it leads you towards the coast. The walk is about 5 kilometers and should take around 1 hour. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the Blue Grotto, which will guide you as you approach the scenic spot.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Zejtun. Start by heading along Triq il-Kbira towards the coast. Follow the signs towards Zurrieq, taking the scenic route along the coastline. The total distance is about 5 kilometers, and it should take around 20-25 minutes to reach the Blue Grotto by bike. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling rules.
