Getting There

Walking
From the center of Zejtun, head east on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq San Girgor. Continue straight onto Triq il-Linja, which will lead you out of the town. Keep walking until you reach Triq il-Madonna tal-Herba. Turn right onto this road and follow it until you reach the main road (Triq Sant'Antnin). Cross the road and continue straight. After about 1 km, you will see signs directing you to Fort Rinella in Kalkara. Follow the signs and continue for about 700 meters until you reach the entrance of Fort Rinella.

Bus
From the Zejtun bus stop, take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the bus stop 'Kalkara'. Once you disembark, walk towards the seafront, and you will see signs for Fort Rinella. It is about a 10-minute walk from the stop to the fort. Follow the path along the coast, and you will arrive at the entrance of Fort Rinella.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from Zejtun and head east on Triq il-Knisja. Follow the same route as described for walking until you reach Triq il-Madonna tal-Herba. Turn right and then turn left onto Triq Sant'Antnin. Continue cycling straight towards Kalkara. The cycling path is mostly flat and scenic, approximately 2 km. Once you arrive in Kalkara, follow the signs to Fort Rinella, which is located by the coast.
