Getting There

    From the center of Zejtun, head north on Triq Sant' Anna towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Knisja and continue straight. After about 700 meters, you'll reach a bus stop. Take bus number 81 towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta Terminus, exit the bus and walk towards the city gate. Enter Valletta and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach Triq Sant' Orsla. The Upper Barrakka will be on your right at number 292.

  • Public Transport

    From Zejtun, go to the nearby bus stop and take bus number 81 to Valletta. This bus runs frequently, so you won’t have to wait long. The journey takes around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, walk towards the city gate and enter Valletta. After entering, continue straight until you reach Triq Sant' Orsla. The Upper Barrakka is located at 292 Triq Sant' Orsla, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus terminus.

    If you prefer to walk, you can head out of Zejtun towards the main road, Triq il-Knisja, and then follow the signs towards Valletta. It is a longer walk of approximately 5 kilometers and would take around 1 hour. Follow the road as it leads into Valletta, and you will eventually arrive at the Upper Barrakka located at 292 Triq Sant' Orsla.
