Start your journey from the Żurrieq village square, which is easily accessible and a central point. Head south on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq il-Gonnella. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triq il-Madonna tal-Hniena. Turn right onto Triq il-Madonna tal-Hniena and follow this road as it curves gently. After about 10 minutes walking, you will come across a small path on your left that leads towards Wied il-Bassasa. Follow this path, which may be a bit rugged, and you will eventually arrive at the scenic area of Wied il-Bassasa.

If you are near the local bus stop at Ġnien il-Kunsill, you can start from there. Walk south on Triq il-Kunsill and take the first left onto Triq tal-Gnien. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the road, where you will find a pathway leading downwards towards Wied il-Bassasa. Make sure to follow the signs as they will guide you through the scenic route.

From the Żurrieq Parish Church, make your way out onto Triq il-Knisja, heading south. Continue along this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq il-Madonna tal-Hniena. Walk straight for about 15 minutes. Look out for a sign that indicates the entrance to Wied il-Bassasa on your right. The path will lead you directly into the valley, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
