Public Transit - Light Rail
From downtown Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the Maryland Transit Administration's (MTA) bus route 70 heading towards Baltimore. Get off at the Baltimore Arena stop. From there, transfer to the Light RailLink and take the light rail towards Hunt Valley. Disembark at the South Baltimore stop. Exit the station and head northwest on W Pratt St for about 0.5 miles; the B&O Railroad Museum will be on your right at 901 W Pratt St.

Public Transit - Bus
Start at the Annapolis Transit Center located at 3 Church Circle. Take the MTA bus route 915 towards Baltimore. The bus will take you directly to the Baltimore City area. Get off at the 'Baltimore City Hall' stop. From there, it's a 15-minute walk: head southwest on E Fayette St, then turn left onto S Howard St. Continue onto W Pratt St, and the museum will be on your left at 901 W Pratt St.

If you're comfortable biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program in Annapolis. Start at the City Dock and head towards the Annapolis-Baltimore bike route. Follow the bike path northeast, and when you reach the intersection with W Pratt St in Baltimore, turn right. Continue on W Pratt St for about 1 mile, and you will see the B&O Railroad Museum on your left at 901 W Pratt St.

For the more adventurous tourist, if you are in the Annapolis downtown area, you can walk to the museum. It’s about a 35-minute walk. Head north on Main St towards Church Circle. Then continue straight onto West St. Follow West St until you reach the intersection with W Pratt St in Baltimore, where you will turn left. The museum will be at 901 W Pratt St on your right.
