From there, you can take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus towards Washington, D.C. Make sure to board a bus that is heading to the Greenbelt or Silver Spring route. Once you arrive at the New Carrollton Metro Station, transfer to the Metro Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station, and transfer to the Red Line towards Glenmont. Finally, get off at the Dupont Circle Metro Station. From Dupont Circle, exit the station and walk north on 19th Street NW until you reach 14th Street NW. Turn left and continue walking until you reach Black Cat at 1811 14th St NW.

    From downtown Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the MTA bus that goes to Washington, D.C. The bus will take you directly to one of the major transit hubs in the city. Once you arrive in D.C., you can take the Metro system. Board the Metro at the nearest station, and take the Green Line to Gallery Place-Chinatown, then transfer to the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the Dupont Circle Metro Station, where you can walk to Black Cat located at 1811 14th St NW by walking north on 19th St NW and turning left onto 14th St NW.
