Public Bus
From downtown Annapolis, head to the nearest bus stop on West Street. Look for the Annapolis Transit bus service, specifically the Route 70, which will take you to the Annapolis Mall. At the Annapolis Mall, transfer to the Washington D.C. bound bus. Enjoy the scenic ride as you travel to Washington, DC. Once you arrive at a stop near Chinatown, disembark and follow the signs directing you towards Chinatown. It's a short walk from the bus stop to the heart of Chinatown.
Walking
If you are staying in a hotel near the waterfront or in the historic district of Annapolis, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to the nearest bus station. Head towards Main Street, and walk north until you reach West Street. Turn left on West Street and continue walking until you reach the bus stop. From there, take a bus toward Washington, DC. After arriving in Chinatown, explore the vibrant area on foot.
Bicycle Rental
For an adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown Annapolis. Head north on the B&A Trail, following the signs towards Washington, DC. This bike path is scenic and safe for cyclists. Once you reach the outskirts of Washington, navigate towards downtown and make your way to Chinatown. Make sure to use bike lanes and observe local traffic rules while biking.
Train
You can take a train from the nearby Annapolis station to Union Station in Washington, DC. From downtown Annapolis, walk to the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) train station located on West Street. Board a train heading towards Washington, and once you arrive at Union Station, transfer to the Metro Red Line. Ride the Metro toward Glenmont and disembark at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Follow the signs to exit, and you will be in the heart of Chinatown.
