Getting There

Walking
From the center of Annapolis, head northwest on Main Street towards West Street. Turn left onto West Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calvert Street. Turn right onto Calvert Street and follow it until you reach the Maryland State House. From there, head towards the City Dock area. You can follow the waterfront path along the Chesapeake Bay. Continue walking on Compromise Street until you reach the foot of the bridge. Cross the bridge to enter the District of Columbia.

Take the Annapolis Transit bus route that heads towards the Eastport area. Get off at the last stop on the route, which is near the Annapolis City Dock. From there, walk towards the waterfront and follow the path towards the Chesapeake Bay. Continue past the City Dock and cross the bridge into Washington, D.C. The Constitution Gardens will be on your left as you enter the National Mall area.

If you have access to a bike, start at the City Dock area in Annapolis. Follow the bike path along the waterfront towards Eastport.
