Getting There

Walking
If you are in downtown Annapolis, start at the Maryland State House located at 100 State Circle. Head northwest on State Circle toward Main Street. Continue onto Church Circle, then take a left onto West Street. Walk straight along West Street until you reach the bus terminal. From there, look for the Metrobus Route 300 toward Greenbelt. Board the bus and ride for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Howard University' bus stop, which is located at 6th Street NW. The university will be directly in front of you.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Annapolis Town Center, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) routes. Take the MTA Route 70 toward Baltimore. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer at the Baltimore Arena stop to the Metrobus Route 300 toward Greenbelt. Ride for another 30 minutes, and disembark at the 'Howard University' bus stop on 6th Street NW. The university will be easily visible from the stop.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services in Annapolis. Start from the City Dock and head northeast on Dock Street toward Main Street. Continue onto Church Circle, then take a right onto West Street. Follow West Street to the end and turn left onto Bladen Street. Continue straight until you reach the bus terminal. From there, follow the signs for the Metrobus Route 300 toward Greenbelt. After a 30-minute ride, get off at the 'Howard University' stop near 6th Street NW.
