The bus will take you directly to the New Carrollton Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Washington Metro system, taking the Orange Line towards Vienna. Get off at the Smithsonian Station, which is the closest stop to the National Mall.
Train
Make your way to the Annapolis Train Station and board a MARC Train on the Penn Line heading towards Washington, DC. After a short ride, disembark at the Union Station. From Union Station, you can take a short walk to the National Mall, following the signs to the National Gallery of Art and then towards the Washington Monument.
Ride Share
Use a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Simply input 'National Mall, Washington, DC' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your location in Annapolis and take you directly to the National Mall. This is a convenient option if you prefer a more direct route without transfers.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Annapolis and ride towards the National Mall. Take the scenic route along the B&A Trail to connect to the Washington, DC bike paths. Once you arrive in DC, follow the signs to the National Mall. Note that this option is best for experienced cyclists.
