    If you are in Annapolis, start at the Annapolis City Dock. From there, walk northeast on Main Street towards West Street. Continue straight onto West Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Church Circle. At Church Circle, continue straight onto State Circle and then take the second exit onto Maryland Avenue. Follow Maryland Avenue until you reach the intersection with Annapolis Street. Turn left onto Annapolis Street and follow it until it becomes Route 50. Keep heading towards the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Once you reach Route 50, you'll want to find a shuttle or bus that goes directly to Washington, D.C. The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) offers a commuter bus service to Washington, D.C. Once you arrive in D.C., you can use the Metro system. Take the Metro Red Line from the nearest station to your drop-off point towards Glenmont. Transfer at Gallery Place-Chinatown to the Yellow or Green Line towards Branch Avenue or Greenbelt. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station and transfer to the Metro Center station. From Metro Center, take the Blue, Orange, or Silver Line to the Federal Triangle station. After exiting the station, walk northwest on 12th Street NW towards Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and you will find the National Theatre DC at 1321 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

    From Annapolis, you can take the MTA Bus service directly to Washington, D.C. Look for the MTA Route 70 bus at the nearest bus stop in Annapolis. The bus will take you to the New Carrollton Metro Station. Once at New Carrollton, board the Metro Orange Line towards Vienna/Fairfax-GMU. After 6 stops, you will arrive at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. At L'Enfant Plaza, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Mount Vernon Square. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. From there, switch to the Metro Blue, Silver, or Orange Line towards Federal Triangle. After exiting the Metro at Federal Triangle, walk northwest on 12th Street NW and turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The National Theatre DC at 1321 Pennsylvania Avenue NW will be on your right.
