From downtown Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop on West Street. Take the Route 70 bus towards 'Clinton' and enjoy the scenic ride. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Brandywine Road and Surratts Road. From there, walk about 5 minutes northeast on Brandywine Road to reach the Surratt House Museum at 9118 Brandywine Rd.

If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Annapolis. Start from the City Dock area and head south on West Street. Follow West Street until it becomes Forest Drive, then continue onto the South River Bridge. After crossing the bridge, take a left onto Route 2 South. Follow Route 2 until you reach the intersection with Brandywine Road. Turn right onto Brandywine Road and pedal for about 10 minutes until you see the Surratt House Museum on your left.

If you're up for a long walk, start from the Maryland State House in downtown Annapolis. Head south on State Circle and take a left onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach West Street, then turn right. Follow West Street until it turns into Forest Drive. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Route 2 South and continue until you reach Brandywine Road. Turn right on Brandywine Road and walk for about 10 minutes until you arrive at the Surratt House Museum.
