Walk straight for about 0.7 miles until you reach the intersection with Compromise Street. Turn left onto Compromise Street and follow it to the end. Cross the bridge onto the City Dock area of Annapolis. From there, catch the Annapolis Water Taxi to the Eastport side and disembark at the nearest stop. Walk towards the nearest bus stop and catch the DC Metrobus towards Washington, D.C. Get off at the 'Penn Quarter' stop and walk to 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, which is approximately a 5-minute walk.

From the Annapolis Transit Center, board the Annapolis Express bus towards Washington, D.C. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Washington, D.C. bus terminal, walk to the nearest Metro station, which is the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Take the yellow line towards Greenbelt or the red line towards Glenmont. Get off at the 'Judiciary Square' station. Exit the station and walk approximately 15 minutes northeast to reach 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
