From the Maryland State House, head west on State Circle toward Main Street. Continue onto Main Street, which will turn into West Street. Walk straight for about 0.7 miles until you reach the intersection with Compromise Street. Turn left onto Compromise Street and follow it to the end. Cross the bridge onto the City Dock area of Annapolis. From there, catch the Annapolis Water Taxi to the Eastport side and disembark at the nearest stop. Walk towards the nearest bus stop and catch the DC Metrobus towards Washington, D.C. Get off at the 'Penn Quarter' stop and walk to 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, which is approximately a 5-minute walk.
