Walking
From the Annapolis City Dock, head northwest on Main Street toward West Street. Continue on West Street for approximately 0.7 miles until you reach the intersection with State Circle. Turn left onto State Circle and follow it around until you reach the Maryland State House. From there, head north on State Circle until you reach the intersection with Church Circle. Keep going straight onto West Street and continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Take the bus to Washington, D.C. at the designated stop.

From the Annapolis Transit Center located at 1 Park Place, take the Annapolis Express bus service which operates directly to the Washington D.C. area. Board the bus heading towards the New Carrollton Metro Station. Once you arrive at New Carrollton, transfer to the Metro Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Disembark at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station and transfer to the Yellow Line towards Mt. Vernon Square. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station and transfer to the Red Line towards Glenmont. Disembark at the Metro Center and follow the signs to the Orange or Blue Line towards Stadium-Armory. Finally, get off at the White House Visitor Center stop at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
