If you are starting from downtown Annapolis, head southeast on Main Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the Annapolis City Dock. From the City Dock, take a left on Dock Street and continue until you reach the end of the street. Here, you will find the entrance to the United States Naval Academy (USNA). Make sure to check for any security protocols before entering. Once inside the Academy, follow the signs towards the Chapel. The Crypt of John Paul Jones is located within the Chapel. The walk from the City Dock to the Chapel is approximately 20 minutes.

Once you arrive at the USNA stop, exit the bus and follow the signs to the United States Naval Academy Chapel. The Crypt of John Paul Jones is located inside the Chapel. If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Annapolis and head towards the US Naval Academy. You can bike along the waterfront path, which is scenic and bike-friendly. Once you reach the entrance of the Naval Academy, you may need to park your bike outside as bikes are not permitted inside the Academy. Walk towards the Chapel, where the Crypt of John Paul Jones is located. The biking distance from downtown to the Chapel is about 1 mile and should take around 10 minutes.
