From any location in the Appalachian Plateau, take the nearest major highway towards Maryland Route 5 (MD-5) South. Follow MD-5 until you reach the town of Leonardtown. In Leonardtown, turn onto MD-4 South towards Point Lookout. Continue on MD-4 South for approximately 14 miles, then make a left onto Point Lookout Road (Route 5). Follow Point Lookout Road for about 7 miles until you reach the lighthouse. There is ample parking available near the lighthouse.
