Please note that there is an entrance fee for the park, which is typically around $25 per vehicle, valid for a week.

Biking is a great way to explore Assateague Island. If you have a bicycle, you can ride along Assateague Island Road. From the main park entrance, it is about a 7-mile ride to the beach.
