If you are traveling by car within Assateague Island National Seashore, start by heading to the nearest park entrance. From there, follow the signs to Route 611 and exit the park. Continue on Route 611 until you reach the junction with Route 50. Take Route 50 East towards Ocean City. After about 10 miles, merge onto Coastal Highway (Route 528) going south. Continue on Coastal Highway until you reach 2nd Street in Ocean City. Turn left onto 2nd Street and follow it until you arrive at Inlet Park, located at 899 S 2nd St. There is no fee required to enter Inlet Park, but parking may incur a cost, especially during peak season.

For those using public transportation, check for the local bus service operating between Assateague Island and Ocean City. Board the bus heading towards Ocean City. The bus will stop at various locations along Coastal Highway. You will need to get off at the closest stop to 2nd Street. From there, walk south on 2nd Street until you reach Inlet Park at 899 S 2nd St. Be sure to check the bus schedule and fares beforehand, as there may be a small fee for a one-way trip.
