Car
If you are driving from Assateague Island National Seashore, head west on Assateague Island Access Road. Merge onto MD-611 N / Stephen Decatur Highway. Continue on MD-611 N for approximately 7 miles until you reach the intersection with MD-528 N. Turn left onto MD-528 N and continue for about 3 miles. Then, turn right onto US-50 E / Ocean Gateway. Continue on US-50 E for about 4 miles, then take the exit toward MD-818 S / Berlin. Follow the signs to Berlin, and then turn left onto Jefferson Street. The Mermaid Museum® will be on your right at 4 Jefferson St, Berlin, MD 21811.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Ocean City Bus from Assateague Island National Seashore to Ocean City. Once in Ocean City, transfer to the Shore Transit bus heading towards Berlin. The Shore Transit bus will take you directly to Berlin. After arriving in Berlin, you will need to walk about 0.5 miles to get to The Mermaid Museum®, located at 4 Jefferson St. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary throughout the week.
