Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Wheaton Regional Park located at 2000 Shorefield Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20902. From the I-495 (Capital Beltway), take Exit 31 for MD-97 North (Georgia Avenue). Continue on MD-97 North for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Shorefield Rd, and the park entrance will be on your left. There is no entry fee for the park, but parking may be limited during busy hours, so arrive early if possible.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, use the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) services. Take the Metro Red Line to the Wheaton Station. From the Wheaton Station, board the Ride On Bus #1 (heading towards Glenmont) or Bus #11 (heading towards Silver Spring). Get off at the stop for Shorefield Rd.
