If you're driving, get onto I-495 (Capital Beltway) and take exit 31B for MD-97 N (Georgia Ave) towards Wheaton. Continue on MD-97 N for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Shorefield Rd. The Wheaton Miniature Train & Carousel will be on your left at 2002 Shorefield Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20902. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach the Wheaton Miniature Train & Carousel via public transit, first take the Metro to the Wheaton Station on the Red Line. From the station, you can catch the Ride On Bus #26 towards Glenmont. Get off at the Shorefield Rd & Georgia Ave stop. Walk approximately 0.5 miles down Shorefield Rd to reach the carousel and train at 2002 Shorefield Rd. The total travel time may vary, so it's advisable to check the Metro and bus schedules in advance.
Walking from Wheaton Metro Station
If you prefer to walk from Wheaton Metro Station, exit the station and head northwest on Georgia Ave. Continue straight for about 0.7 miles until you reach Shorefield Rd. Turn left onto Shorefield Rd, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the Wheaton Miniature Train & Carousel located at 2002 Shorefield Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20902.
