Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Inner Harbor area, head towards the water and look for the harbor promenade. Walk along the promenade towards the south. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of Light Street and Key Highway. The Maryland Science Center will be on your left at 601 Light St. This should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

  • Water Taxi

    If you prefer a scenic route, consider taking a water taxi from one of the nearby docks in Inner Harbor. Look for the water taxi sign, and purchase a ticket (usually around $10 for a single ride). Board the water taxi and inform the captain you want to go to the Maryland Science Center stop.
