    Start from the Inner Harbor area, a popular tourist spot in Baltimore. Walk to the nearest Metro SubwayLink station at Charles Center. Take the Metro SubwayLink towards Owings Mills. Transfer at State Center to the Light RailLink toward Hunt Valley. Get off at the Camden Station. From Camden Station, walk to the nearby Light RailLink stop and board the Light RailLink towards Hunt Valley. Disembark at the Fort McHenry stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine located at 2400 E Fort Ave.

  • Water Taxi

    From the Inner Harbor, you can take a Water Taxi directly to Fort McHenry. Look for the Water Taxi docks near the National Aquarium. Purchase a ticket for the Fort McHenry route. The ride will take you along the harbor, providing a scenic view. Once you arrive at the Fort McHenry dock, you will be right at the entrance of the monument.

  • Walking/Biking

    If you prefer to walk or bike, start from the Inner Harbor and head southwest along the waterfront promenade. Follow the signs toward the Fort McHenry Park, which will take you along the scenic harbor. The distance is about 1.5 miles, and it should take around 30-40 minutes on foot or about 15 minutes by bike. Once you reach Fort McHenry, you will find the entrance at 2400 E Fort Ave.
