Getting There

  • Metro

    From Bethesda, head to the Bethesda Metro Station located at 7400 Wisconsin Ave. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Ride for about 7 stops until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to the Chinatown exit. When you exit the station, you will find yourself in the heart of Chinatown.

  • Bus

    You can catch the Ride On Bus Route 34 from Bethesda to the Twinbrook Metro Station. Board the bus on Wisconsin Ave near the Bethesda Metro Station. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Twinbrook Metro Station and transfer to the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Ride for 7 stops until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Exit the station and follow the signs to Chinatown.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Start from downtown Bethesda and head south on Wisconsin Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East-West Highway (MD-410). Cross at the traffic lights and continue onto the Capital Crescent Trail. Follow the trail for about 2.5 miles until you reach the National Mall. From there, head east towards 7th St NW, and follow it until you reach the vibrant area of Chinatown. This walk will take approximately 45-60 minutes.
