Start at the Bethesda Metro Station, which is located at 7400 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for about 5 stops (approximately 15 minutes) and get off at the King Street-Old Town Station in Alexandria, VA. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the King Street exit. After exiting, head east on King Street towards the waterfront.

From the Bethesda Transit Center, take the Metrobus 5A route towards Springfield. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the 'Duke St & Callahan Dr' stop. From there, walk a short distance (about 5 minutes) to reach The George Washington Masonic National Memorial at 101 Callahan Dr.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike share program. Start at a nearby bike station in Bethesda and head south towards the Capital Crescent Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the Potomac River. Continue along the river until you reach the Alexandria waterfront, then follow the signs towards the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, which is about a 30-minute ride from Bethesda.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from downtown Bethesda. Head south on Wisconsin Ave until you reach the intersection with River Rd. Turn right on River Rd and continue until it merges with the George Washington Parkway. Follow the parkway south towards Alexandria, which is about a 5-mile walk and will take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Alexandria, head towards Callahan Dr to reach your destination.
