If you're driving to the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, head to 2145 Key Wallace Dr, Church Creek, MD 21622. From US-50 E, take the exit toward MD-16 E. Follow MD-16 E, then merge onto MD-335 S. Continue on MD-335 S until you reach Key Wallace Dr. Turn right onto Key Wallace Dr, and the Visitor Center will be on your left. Parking is available on-site, and there are no fees for parking.

If you are using public transportation, note that options may be limited. You can take a bus to Cambridge, MD, and then use a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Visitor Center. From Cambridge, call a local taxi service or use an app like Uber or Lyft to travel the remaining distance (approximately 15 miles). Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip.

For those adventurous enough to bike, there are bike-friendly roads leading to the refuge. Starting from nearby towns, ensure you have a good map or GPS device. Follow local bike paths to connect with MD-335 S, and then take Key Wallace Dr to the Visitor Center. Bring plenty of water, and check the weather ahead of time.
